Yemenis return from Libya
SANA'A, Feb. 26 (Saba)- About 60 Yemenis, including 30 students, arrived in the Sana'a International Airport on Saturday returning from Libya.
Upon the directives of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Yemenia Airways has started flights to Libya to evacuate Yemenis and students who desire to return home from Libya.
The President Saleh's directives were to follow up the situations of Yemenis in Libya and support them with all care.
President Saleh had ordered Yemen Airways to transfer all Yemeni citizens and students living in Libya back home.
This followed calls from Yemenis stuck with their families in Libya which is currently witnessing widespread bloodshed amidst civil society revolt.
Last month, President Saleh had given similar orders to Yemenis who were living in Tunisia and Egypt when those two nations experienced upheaval. Thousands of locals returned
to Yemen.
