ASSECA conference starts in Gabon
LIBREVILLE, Feb. 26 (Saba)- The 6th conference of the Association of Senates, Shoura and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab World
(ASSECAA) has started in Gabon's capital, Libreville, with the participation of Yemen represented by Speaker of the Shoura Council Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani.
In the two-day conference, the participants would discuss a number of urgent issues and priorities of the member councils.
It is scheduled the conference will approve several resolutions, including programs on activation of economic cooperation between Arab and African countries through the
business sector represented by Commerce and industrial Chambers.
On the sidelines of the conference, Abdul-Ghani will hold meetings with the heads of member councils in the conference.
