Dozens killed, injured in Mosul demonstration

Mosul, Nineveh (NINA) –Five demonstrators were killed and dozens were injured while attempting to go into the Governor Building by force and set fire in the building because police forces opened fire on the demonstrators directly.

Nineveh police source reported to NINA “A large number of demonstrators forced their way into Mosul Nineveh Governor Building and set fire in its higher floors.”

“Police forces were forced to shoot fire on the demonstrators in an attempt to disband them,” the source concluded.
