House to be dissolved in mid-2011, says Thai PM
BANGKOK, Feb 25 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has reiterated that he plans to dissolve Thailand's House of Representatives in mid-2011 to pave the way for an early general election.
The Thai premier also confirmed in a radio talk show broadcast on Thursday (Feb 24) that he intends to call on the early general election before his term ends by the end of this year--following the promulgation of new bills on amended key sections of Thailand's 2007 Constitution.
Abhisit said, however, that he cannot announce the exact dates of the House dissolution and the next general election at the moment. (TNA)
