N.ALTANKHUYAG VISITS SMALL AND MIDDLE BUSINESS IN AIMAG

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The First Deputy Premier N.Altankhuyag has got au fait with activities and situation of the people who run small and middle businesses with loans from the state budget in Bulgan aimag.
In the last two years, a MNT 1.4 billion has been distributed to the locals from the small and middle-sized business support fund. Thanks to it, 423 new jobs have been created, and the locals have contributed to their livelihood, according to the aimag's governor.
The First Deputy Premier has visited the “Bulgan Undarga” company that processes sea-buckthorn. It was founded seven years ago, to date it has some 5,000 saplings of the fruit. The farmers say that 2-12 kg fruits are harvested from one bush. This year, they harvested six tons of sea-buckthorn and two tons of blackcurrant. For the time being, the factory is producing and selling sea-buckthorn's juice, wine, jam and oil.
N.Altankhuyag also has legged the aimag's “Guril tejeel bulgan” factory and the “Shine tengis” company. The latter operates milk processing factory. It started the business with a loan of MNT 50 million from the fund. As of present, the factory is processing 400 liters milk a day.
