The Cabinet decided to authorize the President General of Meteorological and Environment Protection - or his deputy - to sign a draft convention on the protection and preservation of the environment between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Cabinet approved the financial contribution of the Kingdom to supporting the Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Conference for the implementation of its relating plans and programmes noted in the recommendations adopted by the foreign ministers of the Islamic Conference held in Islamabad. The contribution and its continuity shall depend on the size of programmes and plans approved by theStanding Finance Committee of the Organization of Islamic Conference.
