Gunmen captured, explosives seized in western Anbar
Ramadi (NINA) –A force from the Iraqi Army 7th Division conducted security operation according to accurate intelligence information in Qaim city of western Anbar arresting six gunmen and discovering an explosive belts and explosives cache during the operation on Wednesday.
A source from Anbar Operations Command reported to NINA “Two among the gunmen were arrested in central Qaim city and admitted detonating a bomb against IA patrol on last Tuesday.”
“The gunmen confessed that four other involved with them in detonating the bomb,” noting that “The police forces arrested the four gunmen and seized two explosive belts as well as 9 mines in addition to amounts of explosives and remote detonators.”
