CEC HOLDS ITS MEETING
Baku, 18 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)The meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) presided over by commission`s chairman Mazahir Panahov took place on Monday.
After the report of the CEC secretary Natig Mammadov, the Commission made a decision to establish two expert groups under the CEC and constituency election commissionscombining 9 and 3 persons respectively.
The CEC decided to appoint Milli Majlis Deputy Aydin Mirzazade as a member in aconsultative capacity from the New Azerbaijan Party.
CEC also registered Teymur Parviz oglu Guliyev and Suleyman Ugur oglu Guliyev asindependent presidential candidates.
During the meeting, composition of some constituency election commissions was changed.
Present at the meeting also were representatives of the Council of Europe, USembassy, IFES, media.
