Kamchatka govt to open hotline for missing Amethyst crew relatives

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, February 21 (Itar-Tass) -- The ministry of
social development and labour in the Kamchatka Territory will open a
hotline at 2 p.m. local time on Monday for the relatives of the crewmen
from the Amethyst trawler, which was reported missing in the Sea of
Okhotsk off the Kamchatka western coast on February 11.
Psychologists from the ministry are ready to give consultations to the relatives of fishermen.
Along with a hotline due to open in the Kamchatka government a hotline operates in the Kamchatka EMERCOM department for the relatives of missing fishermen.
Some 17 fishing vessels and the Predanny rescue ship are searching for the Amethyst on Monday. The Anadyr border patrol boat is supervising the search-and-rescue operation.
EMERCOM and Kamchatka Airlines helicopters Mi-8 are on standby for an air search mission. A FSB airplane An-72 and a military airplane Il-38 are also to fly to the search area on Monday.
The An-72 airplane will carry two relatives of the Amethyst crewmen.
