China supports youth, sport activities in Yemen

Moamar al-Eriani discussed here on Sunday with vice Chinese ambassador to Sana'a aspects of support provided by Chinese government for the Ministry of Youth and Sport within the frameworkof bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, al-Eriani praised the effort of Chinese government to support development process in various stages, highlighting the growing Yemeni-Chinese relation in various fields,particularly in the field of youth and sports.

He pointed out that cooperation agreement between the two countries will expire the next October, which requires bilateral talks to sign a new cooperation agreement between the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Chinese ambassador and invited Chinese Sports Minister tovisit Yemen in the coming period.

For his part, deputy Chinese ambassador expressed his country's readiness to develop cooperation in the field of youth and sports between both countries, affirming distinctive relationship betweenthe two countries in various fields.

He highlighted to the importance of Yemeni attendance to participate in the international Olympics activities to be held after the end of the Olympic games for the period from August 30 until 20 September,especially for people of special needs.
