Demonstration in Ramadi demanding the governor’s resignation
Ramadi (NINA) – Hundreds of Ramadi locals demonstrated Sunday, Feb. 20, demanding the resignation of Anbar governor and Council.
NINA correspondent said “the demonstration headed towards the Official Offices compound, demanding the resignation of the governor, provincial council chairman, fighting corruption and nepotism, and creating jobs opportunities.”
The local police blocked all Ramadi entrances, prevented bicycles, motorcycles, and vehicles from going near the demonstration.
