Baghdad governorate announces readiness to grant licenses to demonstrations
Baghdad (NINA) – Baghdad Governorate announced readiness to grant licenses to demonstrations, adding that regulations for the demonstrations were also issued.
Media Office of the Baghdad Governor, Salah Abdul Razzaq, said “the governorate issued regulations to the demonstrators; everyone has the right to demonstrate to express their opinions.”
It added that the license regulates the demonstration and protects it. Any demonstration that does not have license is illegal; those organizing it shall be questioned legally.
Earlier, Iraqi Prime Minister informed the provincial councils that the demonstrations should be licensed.
