President Saleh meets youth leaders of Sana'a University
SANA'A, Feb. 19 (Saba) -
President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Saturday with Youth and Student leaders of
Sana'a
University.
The youth leaders valued the President's call announced on February 2nd for
resuming the national dialogue. They presented a youth initiative to clarify the
President's
brave initiative that has blocked the way before those who instigate sedition.
The youth initiative, which is called "February 02 Youth Campaign" aims also to
spreading awareness among youths of maintaining the country's security and
stability, dialog
principle and peaceful transfer of power as well as conducting an electronic
awareness to encounter any attempts to harm the country's stability.
The youth asserted in their initiative to establish an academy to qualify youth
leaders, combating corruption and consolidating the principle of reward and
punishment.
The President Saleh voiced his admiration of the youth initiative, saying that it
would be considered to widen the youth's participation in raising the youth
capacities
to be the future leaders in the country.
Saleh confirmed his care of the youths, who are the real power in the society,
pointing that Yemen needs the efforts of all his sons to realize Yemen's progress
and prosperity.
