Two deaths, 19 injured in vandalism acts in Aden

öADEN,Feb.19(Saba)- A security
source in Aden province said on Saturday that two people were killed and 19 others
injured
including five policemen during vandalism acts in Aden province.
Over the two past days, al-Mansoura, Khor Makser and Sheikh Othman districts of
Aden witnessed vandalism acts by some outlaws and rioters, the source added.
The deaths and injures were due to firing from roofs of some houses and from a car
carrying a group of gunmen, who opened fire on protestors and ran away, the source
added.
He said that the security services are tracking the culprits.
The source pointed out that outlaws and rioters cut off public roads and attacked
public and private properties and burned a number of cars belonging to the State
institutions,
in addition to their attempt to storm Police centers in al-Mansoura and al-Mimdarah
in Aden.
In this regard, the source denied the accuracy of allegations by some media that
the security services fired on rioters.
Sabotage elements burned headquarters belonging to the local authority in the
districts of Sirah and Sheikh-Othman in Aden, the source said.
The source condemned the criminal and sabotage acts that harm and the interests of
the homeland and citizens, and warned against sneaking some extremists and
terrorists
among the demonstrators to commit terrorist acts and disturb security.
