Iran plans to donate books to Tajikistan, Afghanistan
TEHRAN, Feb.20(MNA) -- Iran’s Association of Writers for Children and Youth planned to donate books to the libraries in Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
Volunteer members have been asked to submit three volumes of their latest books to the association, secretary of the international committee of the association Mohammad Toluei told .
The library association will keep one volume and the other two will be donated to the libraries in Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
“The idea has been warmly welcomed by Tajikistan and Afghanistan. The project will help boost cultural relations and also help introduce our literature to the Persian-speaking countries of Tajikistan and Afghanistan,” he said.
Toluei added that non-member writers who are also willing to donate books can also join the project.
