DPRK foreign trade minister flies to Russia for visit

PYONGYANG, February 19 (Itar-Tass) -- North Korean Minister of Foreign
Trade Ri Ryong Nam will discuss in Russia ways of development of trade and
economic cooperation. As the central news agency KCNA reports, on
Saturday, a delegation headed by him flew to Moscow. Ri Ryong Nam is a
co-chairman of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on trade and
economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
In august 2010, he held talks with Russian Minister of Regional
Development Viktor Basargin who arrived in Pyongyang. Basargin is also a
co-chairman of this commission. The sides agreed to exert necessary mutual
efforts to intensify diverse and mutually advantageous ties between the
two states.
