Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting held Wednesday decided to spend 194 million 357 thousand togrog from the government reserves fund on expences related to assignment trip and financial incentives for rescuers and officers having worked in disaster centers in last half of 2010.
During this period, a total of 51 forest fires were registered in which 149123 hectares of area was burnt down in 32 soums from 10 aimags.
Moreover, one billion 700 million 352 thousand togrog will be allocated from the government reserves fund for recovering funds spent on combating forest fires and plague, compensation of animals exterminated due to foot and mouth disease and on preventing the spread of the diseases last year. The cabinet charged governors of aimags to present reports on expending he funds within the 1st quarter of 2011.
