OIL SECTOR ACTIVITIES INTRODUCED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Mineral resources and energy, D.Zorigt has introduced information on oil industry activities at the cabinet meeting held Wednesday.
In connection with this, the cabinet obliged the Minister D.Zorigt to draft new wording of the oil law, amendments to the law on oil products, state policy for the oil sector, and general guidelines until 2015 for the discussion within the 1st quarter 2011.
The cabinet tasked D.Zorigt and the head of Petroleum Authority D.Amarsaikhan to have the Professional Council for Mineral Resources discuss product share contracts to be signed and oil reserves of Petro China Dachin Tamsag LLC, Donshen oil Mongolia LLC and to grant exploration areas licenses in accordance with the related laws within the 2nd quarter of 2011.
