LOSS OF LOCAL POWER STATION TO BE LIQUIDATED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Wednesday's cabinet meeting made a decision to allot money of MNT 370 million to liquidate the loss for the budget of Uvs aimag, its some organizations and people due to a defect in the aimag's thermal power station.
The cabinet ordered the aimag's governor to study a matter on transferring the pipelines and station owned by the "Uvs thermal power station" company to the local possession and to introduce it to the cabinet in order to protect interests of the consumers--enterprisers and citizens. In addition, the cabinet has considered as necessity to take a measure to have the company pay some parts of the money which is allocated from the governmental reserved fund.
The governor of Uvs aimag also has been obliged to spend the money for the targeted purpose and to send a report on the execution to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
By the way, on January 17, 2011, the aimag's center went to an emergency situation because of the breakdown of the power station. In accordance with a direction of the State Emergency Commission (SEC), the power station's facilities have been equipped with new ones under a control of a working established by the Energy Authority. The biggest loss of heating mechanism has been detected as well.
