Premier inaugurates the 17th Arab Scout Conference
Saturday the 17th Arab Scout Conference and the 11th InternationalConference on Civilizations and Culture Diversities.
In the ceremony, Mujawar delivered a speech in which he affirmed that President Saleh's patronage to the 11th scout conference is a reflection of political leadership and of the government's care of youth who carry on shoulders responsibility of promoting theircountries in different fields.
"Nations and peoples are only built and developed by hands of their sons," said Mujawar, adding that activities these youth would practice under the motto of "Arab Scout .. the Future of Arab Unity" are in harmony with real fact will be realized by them and will bewritten with shining letters by their successors.
He noted that Yemeni Unity is a seed of peoples' seeks for realizing Arab comprehensive unity, indicating that by unity, capabilities are united and people can overcome all internal and externaldifficulties.
For his part, Minster of Youth and Sports Hamoud Obad said that Yemen's hosting to this activity, which is participated by 500 person representing 42 countries, is a pride to Yemen and a prove ofthe country's care of youth and scout.
He indicated that holding this conference coincides with holding summer camps and centers across the country and that participants in the conference would get more knowledge through acquaintingthemselves with many historical and antique sites in Yemen.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of Arab Organization of Scouts Atef Abdel Meguid expressed his and delegation's happiness for being in Yemen, highlighting President's patronage to this Arab andinternational activity.
