HE Prime Minister Chairs Cabinet Meeting
Doha, February 09 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al-Than chaired the cabinet weekly regular session held at the Emiri Diwan premises here on Wednesday.
After the meeting, HE the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Nasser bin Mohamed bin Abdulaziz Al Thani stated the following:
Afterwards the Cabinet considered topics on the agenda and took the following decisions:
First: Took the necessary measures for the issue of a draft law cancelling law No./7/ of 1990 on prising system of medicines ,pharmaceutical products and price control and after taking note of the Advisory Council's relevant recommendation.
Second: Approved the draft decision of HE the Minister of Economy and Finance on establishing a customs department at the free zone of Qatar Science and Technology Park.
Third: The cabinet reviewed the two following items and adopted the appropriate thereon decisions:
A- The memo of HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs who is also chairman of the National Committee for Combating Terrorism concerning the 6th report on the outcomes of the aforesaid committee during the period from 1/4 TO 1/10/2010.
B- The letter of HE the Governor of Qatar Central Bank (QCB) concerning the report on the 12th meeting of the MENAFATF financial working group and the second meeting of the forum of the financial intelligence units of the said group.
