WINTER ATHLETES AWARDED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MonNOC) and the Mongolian Federation of Ski Sports received Wednesday athletes who successfully participated in the 7th Asian Winter Games held from January 30 to February 6 in Kazakhstan.
During the reception, the MonNOC's authorities have awarded the Medal of Sports Glory to the winter athletes. Moreover, cash prizes of MNT one million has been awarded to each of them from the Ski Sports Federation. In accordance with the governmental resolution, the athletes who won medals in Asian Winter Games will receive cash prizes next week.
The Mongolian national team of winter sports have won one silver and four bronze medals in the sport events of ski orienteering and bandy.
