STATE AUTO CHECK UP STARTS

Ulaanbaatar,Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The state auto maintenance check up started on February 16.
Presently, Ulaanbaatar city has 150 thousands vehicles. According to the General Manager of Ulaanbaatar city, Ch.Bat, the number of vehicls in Ulaanbaatar city increases by 20 thousand every year. The activity will run in 9 districts, 3 auto diagnostic centers from February 16 to June 1. This year, besides increasing in the sizes of tax by 25-50 percent, tax will be imposed for air pollution. The rate of air pollution tax will depend on the date of production of the vehicles. It is estimated to allocate a total of MNT 9.4 billion in the City's traffic fund from taxes levied on auto vehicles.
