MONGOLIA TO JOIN ITB-2011 EXPOSITION IN BERLIN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolia will participate in ITB-2011 exposition in Berlin, Germany as a “Culture partner country”.
Thereby, an opportunity opens up to introduce Mongolia's history and cultural heritage to the world, strengthen its position on the European market, increase the number of tourists visiting Mongolia, enhance its competitiveness in the tourism industry, develop the cultural heritage as a product for attracting tourists, and to foster cooperation in the tourism sector.
Mongolia has been attending the ITB exhibition since 1999. All days of the event, activities will be held in exposition sites and in Berlin city to popularize Mongolia's art and culture. On the first day, “Mongolia's forum” will be organized to provide information on Mongolia to decision makers.
Over 1100 tour companies from 187 countries of the world will advertise their products and services. Participants of the exposition do make 6 trillion worth deals during the event. According to statistics, 179 thousand 351 people visited the event last year.
