ABOUT WORKS OF STANDING COMMITTEE ON ECONOMICS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A report has been given by D.Zorigt, head of the parliamentary Standing committee on economics; and the Standing committee's members D.Terbishdagva and J.Batsuuri.
The Standing committee has discussed the important draft laws, within the autumn session of parliament for 2010, such as a state monetary policy, and bills on the Human Development Fund (HDF), on social insurance fund, on establishment of a development bank, and on apartment. Moreover, the Standing committee has considered issues about ten credit agreements. When these credit agreements are approved Mongolia will be able to receive about USD 100 million from foreign countries including a two-phase soft loan to be granted from Japan.
The Standing committee's members plan to get au fait with activities of free-economic zones during of parliamentary session. In addition, it will get acquainted with implementation of the policy on nuclear energy which was approved by parliament, at related organizations, and will supervise activities of the "Mon-atom" company.
