AJC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR BRIEFS JOURNALISTS ON HIS BAKU VISIT RESULTS
Baku, 16 AUGUST,(AzerTAj) American Jewish Committee (AJC) Executive Director David A. Harris held Saturday a press-conference on the results of his visit to Azerbaijan.
He expressed his satisfaction with the meetings held during the visit.
According to him, Azerbaijan could be an example of religious tolerance to othercountries.
David A. Harris said he would contribute to solidifying friendly relations between Azerbaijan and the United States adding that “we consider Azerbaijan as a friend.†He stressed the importance of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. “The recent developments in South Ossetia will increase the world community`s interest tothe Nagorno-Karabakh disputeâ€, he noted.
He also expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for warm reception.
