“For Sea Foundation” holds deep-water diving lessons for marine preservation

BANGKOK, Feb 15 (TNA) - Thailand’s “For Sea Foundation” will be holding its underwater program for the ninth-batch of youths to create their awareness with a constructive mindset on marine conservation.

The “For Sea Foundation”, in cooperation with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (Thai Health) for the second consecutive year, said on Tuesday (Feb 15) that the six-day activity, scheduled for April 26-May 3, will provide the young participants with a close-up experience under Thailand’s deep seas off Ngai Island in the southern resort Trang Province.

Special deep-water scuba diving sessions under the internationally-recognized Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) will also be offered to the selected 30 young finalists--together with hands-on lessons on sea life and ecosystems.

Applications for the six-day activity has been opened from February 14-25--during which youths aged 13-20 years are welcome for the selection of the 30 finalists, on top of over 200 youths who participated in similar activities last year. (TNA)
