PRESIDENT GIVES DIRECTION TO CABINET
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj has discussed at the National Security Council (NSC) process and results of works done last period to protect disasters of earthquakes, and then has given a direction to the government based on the 1st clause in the 34th chapter of the Constitution of Mongolia.
Pursuant to the President's decree on the direction, the government has been obliged to establish a non-staff standing council headed by the Deputy Prime Minister M.Enkhbold comprising members from the Office of the NSC; line ministries; agencies and departments to develop a National Capacity Building Plan to Protect from Earthquake, and to undertake, coordinate and provide with cohesive management at national level actions of professional organizations to prevent from earthquake disasters, mitigate associated risks and ensure preparedness.
