Gazprom to invest 1B roubles in Khabarovsk Territory pipelines
KHABAROVSK, February 15 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia's Gazprom will invest
over 2011 about one billion roubles in construction of gas pipelines in
the Khabarovsk Territory, Gazprom Trans Tomsk's Director General Vitaly
Markelov said on Tuesday at a meeting with Governor Vyacheslav Shport.
The governor highlighted the "positive dynamics of the cooperation."
The Territory's government and Gazprom have approved a general plan
for gas supplies to the region. The programme to 2014 covers construction
of 175 kilometres of main and local pipelines to supply gas to 23 cities
and villages. The investments will make 3.6 billion roubles to 2014.
Gazprom daughter companies work on the existing pipelines and on the
constructed gas infrastructures in the region, which unite Sakhalin with
Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Khabarovsk. Soon, pipelines will reach Vladivostok
and other locations. New pipelines will be laid in the Nikolayevsky,
Solnechny and Khabarovsky districts.
