News reports, rumours on Pakistan President Musharraf's resignation totally baseless, malicious

Islamabad, Aug 16 PPI: The recent spate of news reports and rumours about the resignation of Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf are ``totally baseless and malicious,'' the Presidential spokesman said on Friday.

The spokesman said ``such unsubstantiated reports were creating uncertainty and negative impact'' on the country's economy.
