Revenues of China's state budget in 2010 grow by 21 %

BEIJING (Itar-Tass) - Revenues of the state budget of
China in 2010 increased by 21.3 percent in comparison with 2009 and
reached 8.308 trillion yuans (1.26 billion dollars), the newspaper Renmin
Ribao writes with reference to the Chinese Finance Ministry on Monday.
The report notes that this index is 441 billion yuans (66.9 billion
dollars) exceeds the forecasted one, which is explained by high rates of
growth of a number of sectors. Thus instead of supposed eight percent, the
volume of foreign trade of the country in 2010 increased by 34.7 percent,
which brought to the state treasury revenues to the sum of 286.5 billion
yans (43.7 billion dollars) at the expense of taxes and duties. Besides,
sales of cars became another item of revenues of the budget, which made it
possible to increase state revenues in 2010 by 128.5 billion yuans (19.9
billion dollars).
At the same time, China's state expenditures in 2010 increase by 17.4
percent in comparison with 2009 and reached 8.957 trillion yuans (1.35
billion dollars). Healthcare, education, social programs and environmental
protection became the main items of expenditures of the Chinese budget.
