Yemen receives request of setting up American university in
Researches Saleh BaSorah has announced that the ministry received several requests to set up private universities including a requestof setting up American University in Aden.
In his statement to 26sep.net, BaSorah said that the ministry would give approval only for requests that meet with international standards based on curriculum and qualified teaching staffs of in order to enhance quality of the higher education in the country He said that an Iraqi investor, a resident in Syria, offered arequest to set up a private university in the country.
BaSorah made it clear that the American University and the Iraqi investor voiced desire to set up buildings of the universities and supply them with high level equipment before getting thelicenses.
