Barazani, Allawi discuss political situation
Erbil (NINA) – Head of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, discussed on Sunday, Feb. 13, with leader of Iraqiya Alliance, Iyad Allawi, and the delegation accompanying him, the political situation.
Informed source said that in the meeting both sides discussed political developments in Iraq and the region, asserting the necessity to speed up in naming ministers for security ministries, as well as discussing the Political Strategies Council and the Council's role in supporting the government performance.
He pointed out that Allawi praised Barazani's role in the political process hoping that he continues his efforts in bringing various points of view close together.
