AZERBAIJAN EDUCATION MINISTER MEETS FRENCH AMBASSADOR
Baku, 16 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)Minister of Education Misir Mardanov has met with the French ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller.
Misir Mardanov spoke about Azerbaijan-France educational relations, adding both countries work to expand the cooperation in this field.
According to the minister, 13 students were sent to study in France under the agreement between the Ministry and French organization GNUS signed in 2007. Misir Mardanov noted about 45 Azerbaijani youngsters had applied to the Ministry to pursuetheir studies in France.
The Minister stated that French language is taught very well in the Baku, Nakhchivanand Lankaran State Universities.
G.Keller expressed his confidence that educational ties between the two countrieswould be enhanced.
