Foreign Minister meets U.S. ambassador in Sana'a
SANA'A, Feb. 13 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Sunday with US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein.
During the meeting, al-Qirbi and Feierstein discussed the bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries.
They also reviewed the ongoing preparations for the impending visit of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to the United States.
President Saleh's visit will represent a further step in the process of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and pushing them to wider areas of joint
cooperation.
In addition, al-Qirbi and Feierstein discussed the current arrangements for the next ministerial meeting of the Friends of Yemen to be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh in
March.
