ABOUT WORKS OF STANDING COMMITTEE ON JUSTICE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Head of the parliamentary Standing committee on justice D.Odbayar MP; and B.Bat-Erdene MP gave Friday report on the works of the Standing committee done during the regular autumn session of the State Great Khural for 2010.
Within the period, the Standing committee met 19 times for 23 hours and 30 minutes with attendance of 75.0 per cent of the members. Moreover, the Standing committee has discussed 34 issues including 31 laws, 14 draft decisions of parliament and other matters.
The Standing committee has considered draft new wording of the law on notary and draft amendments to the 26 laws accompanied by the draft new wording; draft amendments to the laws on adjudication of administrative case; draft amendment to the law on notary initiated by Ts.Monkh-Orgil MP and other parliamentarians; draft amendments to the laws on adjudication of administrative case initiated by J.Sukhbaatar MP and other MPs. These draft amendments have been drawn up making one draft law, and it has been approved at the parliamentary session.
In accordance with a decision of the Standing committee and sub-committees, nine working groups have been set up. These working groups met 32 times.
