Talabani meets with Syria's Foreign Minister
Baghdad (NINA) –Iraqi President Jalal Talabani met on Saturday evening, in Damascus with Syria's Foreign Minister, Walid Muallem.
Talabani and Muallem discussed spheres of developing Iraqi-Syrian relations and the desire of both countries' leadership and people to up grade bilateral relations in the service of both countries' interests.
During his talks, Talabani asserted that consolidating bilateral relations is in the interest of both countries and service the goals of political and economic developments.
They also talked about the need to activate agreements concluded between both countries through the works of Joint Supreme Committee.
