Jalali: Egypt, gate of Palestine freedom
Tehran, Feb 12, IRNA – The rapporteur of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said on Saturday that Egypt is a gate for Palestine's freedom.
Talking to IRNA here, Kazem Jalali said the escape of dictator Hosni Mubarak from Egypt was a great victory for the Egyptian nation.
Jalali underlined that the Western states and the US consider the Egyptian revolution as a threat to the Zionist regime.
He further referred to the complicated plots those states will hatch in order to ensure the survival of the Zionist regime in the region.
Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak stepped down from the presidency on February 11, after 19 days of protests in Cairo and other Egyptian cities./end
