Islamic Revolution victory belongs to Ummah: Pakistani Minister

Islamabad, Feb 12, IRNA – Pakistani Minister for railways, Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour has said that victory of Islamic Revolution belongs to every Muslim of the world.
Talking to IRNA at a reception at Iranian embassy to mark the 32nd anniversary of Islamic Revolution, the minister said that ‘it is a very significant moment for the people of Iran’.
He said that the people of Pakistan have special sentiments for the Iranian government and people of Iran.
“The importance of cordial and friendly relations between Iran and Pakistan can hardly be overemphasized”, he said.
“People of both countries are close culturally, religiously and also share the same customs”, he said.
The momentum of relationship was not affected even by the change of governments in Pakistan, where the successive governments attached high priority to establishing bilateral relations with Iran.
Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour congratulated Iran on the occasion terming the 32nd anniversary of the Revolution as a great historic day for the whole Muslim Ummah.
The minister viewed that Pakistan and Iran have to collaborate and support each other on different issues.
“We have to be united and strengthen each other not only economically but socially and culturally”, he suggested./end
