S.BATBOLD MEETS AUTHORITIES OF HEAVY AND LIGHT INDUSTRIES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold has received authorities of light and heavy industrial factories during legging the Railway College and the Mongolia-S.Korea technical college. He has heard information that the Gobi company has announced 300 new job places this year, but no more than 60 per cent of the job places have been filled with new staffers, in times of a high level of unemployment in the country.
The Premier has emphasized that the situation of the Gobi company is related to a reason of unsatisfactory advertisement for the people, and then said that it is important to refine upon the labor exchange and to make clear the collaboration among the people, productions and training.
S.Batbold has criticized an insufficient situation of the general organization while the biggest works and programs of the government have launched for new constructions and supporting employment, and ordered the related officials to initiate new sophisticated measure of distributing information that will be more open for the people and reducing bureaucracy, and to introduce it the related officials.
In turn, teachers of the vocational training centers have told about an influence of legal environment to introduce the duel system which allows trainees to run the training in their job places.
The Premier has set a strict condition to the training centers for fruitful results of the year of supporting employment.
According to the Premier's report, some 5,600 Mongolian workers have been working in the Oyu tolgoi deposit's mine so far. This ratio between Mongolian and foreign workers will be strictly kept. It is expected that the ratio will be 90:10. The 90 per cent of them will be Mongolians. For the time being, some 3,000 people have been involved in vocational training with a capital of MNT 36 billion. These trained people will work not only in the Oyu tolgoi mine, but also in other necessary sectors.
