RANKINGS OF MONGOLIAN JUDOISTS JUMP

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The International Judo Federation (IJF) has updated the international rankings of judoists after the Judo Grand Slam held on February 5-6 in Paris, France. The ranks of Mongolian judoists have been jumped up at the updated list.
A world champion and Olympic bronze medalist Kh.Tsagaanbaatar is still keeping its leadership in the men's 66 kg category with 1,620 points. He is being followed by Alim Gadanov of Russia (1226) and Jumpei Morishita of Japan (1,066). The countryman S.Miaragchaa is at the 7th place in this category.
Thanks to winning gold medal in the Paris Grand Slam, an international master of sports M.Bundmaa has been ranked at the 4th place in the women's 52 kg category with 1,032 points. Moreover, an Olympic champion N.Tuvshinbayar's rank soared to the 17th place.
By the way, first 22 judoists in the each category will be qualified to take part in the London 2012 Olympic Games. For the time being, Mongolian eight judoists except the above judoists have been ranked within 22nd places.
