Official casualties reported in wake of Thai-Cambodian border clashes

BANGKOK, Feb 11 (TNA) - The Thai Ministry of Interior's Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported Friday (Feb 11) that three Thai people were killed and 22 others were wounded from a spate of border clashes between Thai and Cambodian soldiers from February 4-6.
The department chief, Wiboon Sanguanpong, said that the three Thai fatalities included two soldiers and a civilian, and of the 22 wounded, 14 are Thai soldiers while the remaining eight are civilians.
According to the official report, seven houses in Thailand's northeastern Si Sa Ket Province near the border were completely destroyed and 28 others were damaged during the clashes. (TNA)
