North Caucasus ethnics to demonstrate in Moscow.

MOSCOW (Itar-Tass) - The Russian Congress of Caucasian
Peoples will hold an "anti-fascist" demonstration in Manezh Square at the
Kremlin wall on Friday to counterbalance mass disorders provoked in the
same place by Russian football fans against non-Slavic citizens on
December 11.
"The date is not accidental. We do not want the date of 11 to become
symbolic," the Congress said adding the Union of Russian Paratroopers and
the Multinational Russia Club will join the action.
The Congress said ultranationalists had "committed blasphemy" as they
chanted Nazi slogans close to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the
monument to World War Two Victor Marshal Georgy Zhukov.
"We say no to fascism on the Russian soil," the Congress said.
"Our heroic past has to unite all peoples of Russia and former Soviet
republics. We shall not allow to desecrate the memory of those who
fearlessly defended this land, the people of various nationalities. It is
the moral duty of every person not to allow fascism triumph on the Russian
soil,' the Congress said.
