Twenty-three Ferraris sold in Turkey in 2010
ISTANBUL (A.A) - 10.02.2011 - Twenty-three Ferrari cars were sold in Turkey in 2010, the luxurious Italian carmaker said on Thursday.
Eleven of the Ferraris were sold in Turkey were 458 Italia model and nine of them were California model.
Ferrari sold 6,573 vehicles in the world in 2010, and earned 1.9 billion Euros with a 7.9 percent year-on-year rise.
The Italian sports car manufacturer's profit was up to 303 million Euro in 2010, and its sales were up 5 percent when compared with 2009.
Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929, as Scuderia Ferrari, the company sponsored drivers and manufactured race cars before moving into production of street-legal vehicles as Ferrari S.p.A. in 1947. Throughout its history, the company has been noted for its continued participation in racing, especially in Formula One, where it has had great success.
