Crown Prince of Bahrain supports Turkey's reaching out to the East

ANKARA (A.A) - Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain said Wednesday that he supported Turkey's reaching out to the East in recent times.
Al Khalifa participated in a working breakfast hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in Ankara on Wednesday.
Speaking at the beginning of the meeting, Al Khalifa said that Turkey was the world's 16th biggest economy and attracted the world's attention with its development in recent period.
Pointing out that Turkey had the industry to manufacture any product, Al Khalifa said that there were opportunities to increase the trade volume between Turkey and Bahrain.
Stressing the importance of mutual visits between Turkey and Bahrain, Al Khalifa said that they were ready to extend all support to the Turkish private sector willing to do business in Bahrain.
Chairman of TOBB Rifat Hisarciklioglu, in his part, said that it was crucial for the Turkish business world to develop economic relations with Bahrain.
Our request from Bahrain is to help finalize the ongoing negotiations with the Gulf Cooperation Council for a free trade agreement, Hisarciklioglu said.
Turkish-Bahraini trade volume stands at 145 million USD.
