Russia's aircraft manufacturer Irkut to demonstrate its new generation MS-21 at Aero India 2011.

MOSCOW (Itar-Tass) - Russia's aircraft manufacturer Irkut
Corporation will demonstrate its new generation MS-21 airliner at Aero
India 2011 that opens in Bangalore on February 9, the corporation's press service told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
"The short-range and medium-range jet airliner MS-21 with the capacity of 150-212 passengers is designed to replace Tu-154 and ageing foreign jets," the source said.
The MS-21 airliner will have 12-15 percent lower operating costs. This
airliner will be more comfortable for passengers than narrow-bodied planes.
The corporation will also show at its stand an An-148-100 airliner
that is developed by Ukraine's Antonov Design Bureau and manufactured byRussia's Voronezh Aircraft Building Company.
An-148 meets all requirements for using on India's regional routes.
