59 homes destroyed by West Australian bushfire.
(AAP) The West Australian Fire and Emergency Authority (FESA) believe 59 homes have been destroyed by a bushfire which has ravaged the Perth hills district.
This is up from the 42 homes authorities had earlier stated had been destroyed.
A spokeswoman said figures of homes destroyed were only an estimate at this stage and would be upgraded once FESA officers were able to properly assess the Roleystone and Kelmscott areas.
As well as the 59 homes believed destroyed, another 28 have been significantly damaged.
