Little's daughter creates Alzheimer's fund

The daughter of showbiz legend Jeanne Little has created a fund to carry out research into the disease that has claimed most of her mother's memories.
The Australian icon and darling of Australian television for over 30 years is now undergoing care in a Sydney nursing facility.
Her only daughter, graphic designer Katie Little Poulton, has created the Jeanne Little Alzheimer's Research Fund so research can be carried out into the debilitating disease.
"Let's try to do something really positive; create a fund that actually does go towards research," she told the Seven Network on Monday.
Tragically, the entertainer has lost almost all memories, including of her career and family.
"I think I've come to terms with that now, that she doesn't recognise me .. it's almost as if you're talking as if someone's passed away but they haven't passed away, they're still there," Ms Poulton added.
She said Barry, Jeanne's husband of almost 40 years, was heartbroken.
