Turkish minister meets Sudanese president in Khartoum

KHARTOUM (A.A) - Turkish State Minister Faruk Celik was received by Sudanese President Umar al-Bashir as part of his formal visit to Sudan. 
Turkey-Sudan bilateral relations as as well as recent developments in the region including Egypt were high on agenda of the meeting. 
Following the meeting, Celik left Sudan for Turkey. 
During his visit to Sudan, Celik attended the ground-breaking ceremony for a hospital to be constructed by the Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA) in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur state in the western part of Sudan. The hospital will have a capacity of 150 beds and cost about 30 million USD. Celik also held a series of talks with Sudanese authorities including Vice President Ali Osman Taha.
