Iran President felicitates Sri Lanka’s national day
Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad felicitated Sri Lanka’s national day (February 4) sending a message to the country’s government and nation on Saturday.
The message was sent to President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa, a statement released by the Press and Information Center of the Presidential Office said.
President Ahmadinejad wished for further prosperity and progress of the Sri Lankan people in the future.
He also expressed hope that Tehran-Colombo cooperation would further be promoted through cordial relations between the two capitals.
